TradingView Indicator · User Guide

The Entry graded setups with the risk already worked out.

The only tool in the set that draws a whole trade. Entry, stop, targets, contract count for your dollar risk, and a letter grade from six confluence criteria — with a minimum grade filter so weak setups never appear.

Quick start

Set your risk before anything else. The whole tool is calibrated off that one number.

  1. Set Dollar Risk to what you actually risk per trade. It defaults to $300 and drives the contract count printed on every entry.
  2. Set Minimum Grade to B or better. Left on All, you see every setup including the ones the grader thinks are poor.
  3. Check Session 1 matches when you trade — it defaults to 09:30–11:00.
  4. Read the Grade Table in the top right before taking anything. It shows why the last setup scored what it did.
01

Sessions and Targets

When setups are allowed, and how many targets get drawn.

Session 1 on · 09:30-11:00
The primary window. Setups outside enabled sessions do not print.
Session 2 · Session 3 both off
Defaulting to 15:00–16:00 and 00:00–01:00. Enable if you trade the close or the overnight.
RR 01 · RR 02 both on
The first two reward targets, drawn on every setup.
RR 03 – RR 05 all off
Three further targets. Turning all five on gives you five lines per setup — reserve that for review.
Show Fibonacci on
The retracement levels the entry is derived from, with configurable colour, width, label size and line length.
02

Entry and Stop

The two lines that define the trade, and their labels.

Show Entry Line on
The entry level. Dotted black by default, with independent colour, style and width.
Entry Length Mode Auto
Auto sizes the line to the setup; Manual fixes it at Manual Length, default 10 candles.
Show Entry Label on
Text defaults to entry and is editable, with size and a default or monospace font.
Show Stop Loss Line on
The invalidation level, red dotted by default, with the same length and styling controls as the entry.
Show Stop Loss Label on
Defaults to stop loss, also editable.
03

Position Sizing

Turning a stop distance into a contract count.

Show Position Sizing on Entry on
Prints contract count and dollar risk on the entry label and its tooltip.
Dollar Risk ($) 300
The amount you intend to risk per trade. Everything downstream is derived from this — set it honestly and the contract count is usable as printed.
Check the maths once

Before trading off the printed size, verify it against your own calculation on one setup, on your instrument and account. Contract sizing depends on tick value, and a tool that is right on MNQ can be wrong elsewhere.

04

Entry Grade

Six criteria, one letter, and a filter.

Show Entry Grade on
Prints an A+ through F grade on the entry label and tooltip, from five confluence criteria.
Include SMT in Grade off
Adds divergence as a sixth criterion. On: all five plus SMT equals A+, and all five without SMT equals A. Off: five out of five is A+, the legacy behaviour.
Minimum Grade All
All, A+, A, B, C or D. Setups below the threshold are neither drawn nor alerted — the highest-leverage setting in the tool.
Volume Spike Multiplier 1.5
Volume must reach this multiple of the average to satisfy the volume criterion, averaged over Volume Average Period, default 20.
Swing Pivot Length 5
Bars either side for buyside and sellside pivot detection.
Sweep Lookback Bars 20
How far back a liquidity sweep is looked for before an inverse fair value gap forms.
Show Grade Table on
A panel showing the grade and rating of the most recent signal, with position and text colour controls.
Raise the bar before you widen it

If you are getting too few setups, the instinct is to lower Minimum Grade. Try widening the session first. A C-grade setup is one the tool has already judged to be missing most of its confluence.

05

SMT Divergence

Correlated-market divergence, optionally feeding the grade.

Show SMT Divergences on
Consecutive-bar divergence between correlated assets — NQ against ES, for instance — resolved automatically.
SMT Correlation Mode Single
Single compares one correlated asset; Triad adds secondary and tertiary, matching the Po3 approach.
Asset Type Auto
Auto detects the class. Force Futures or CFD/Spot when detection picks the wrong pairs.
SMT Lookback (Grade) 20
How many bars back a divergence stays valid for the grading criterion.
Show Bullish · Bearish SMT both on
Each with two colours so you can tell which correlated asset diverged.
Max Signals to Display 20
Cap on visible divergences.
Hide Invalidated on
Removes divergence lines once price closes through the pivot level.
