PO3 Ultimate the whole panel, in order.

Nine settings groups, 172 controls. This guide follows the panel top to bottom, so you can read it with the settings dialog open beside you.

Quick start

The defaults are a working setup. Change these four things, then leave the rest alone until something annoys you.

  1. Add the indicator and leave Auto Timeframes on. The three HTF candle sets pick themselves from your chart timeframe.
  2. Open General and turn on Show Advanced Settings only when you need it. Off, the panel hides the controls most people never touch.
  3. Check the Profiler HUD in the top-right of your chart. It is the readout for what the indicator currently thinks — read it before you interpret anything drawn on price.
  4. Set Alerts last. TradingView freezes your settings into an alert the moment you create it.
Naming

Three prefixes repeat: CTF is your chart timeframe, HTF is a higher one, and MTF is the middle step used by the anchor system. C1 / C2 / C3 are the first, second and third candles of a Power of Three sequence.

General

One switch, and it changes how much of the panel you can see.

Show Advanced Settings off
Reveals the deeper controls throughout the panel — standard deviations, pivot strengths, tick lengths, manual correlation assets. Off is the recommended default: it keeps the dialog readable. Turn it on when a specific section below tells you to.
Good to know

Hiding a control does not disable it. Everything you set while Advanced was on keeps running after you switch it back off — you just stop seeing the field. If behaviour changes and you cannot find why, turn Advanced back on and look there.

Profile and Bias

Three separate direction filters. They are independent, which is the part worth understanding.

Direction Filter Auto
Governs what gets drawn. Auto derives direction from the profile; Both draws everything regardless; Bullish or Bearish pins it.
Alert Bias Both
Governs what fires. Both, Bullish, Bearish, or Follow Profile to inherit whatever the profile currently reads.
CISD / SMT Bias Both
A third filter applying only to CISD and SMT signals. Same four options. Use it to keep the chart fully populated while narrowing just the confirmation signals.
Three filters, not one

A signal has to survive all three before it reaches you as an alert. If something drew on the chart but never pinged, the difference is almost always Alert Bias or CISD / SMT Bias — not the Direction Filter you were looking at.

Setting all three to Follow Profile where available is the coherent configuration: one decision propagates everywhere. Mixing pinned and following values is what produces "why did that not alert" afternoons.

Dashboard Panels

The Profiler HUD — the indicator's own readout of what it currently sees.

Show Profiler HUD on
The on-chart panel summarising current state. Leave it on. It is the difference between reading the indicator and guessing at it.
Profiler HUD Position Top Right
Nine anchor points, from Top Left through Bottom Right. Move it off Top Right if it collides with your other indicators' readouts.
Anchor HTF Label Prefix "+ "
Text prepended to anchor timeframe labels. Cosmetic, and useful when you run two copies of the indicator and need to tell their labels apart at a glance.

HTF Candles

Up to three higher-timeframe candle sets drawn beside live price, plus their styling, labels and the anchor system.

The three sets

Auto Timeframes on
Derives all three timeframes from your chart. Turn it off only if you want a fixed pair regardless of what chart you are on.
HTF 1 on · 240
First set, defaulting to 4H with a Count of 4 candles. Timeframes run from 1 minute to 1M.
HTF 2 on · 1D
Second set, daily, 4 candles.
HTF 3 on · 1W
Third set, weekly, 4 candles. Three stacked sets is a lot of screen; most people end up disabling this one.
Limit to next HTFs only 3
Caps how many steps above your chart timeframe the sets are allowed to reach. Stops a 1m chart from rendering monthly candles.
Custom daily candle open off
Uses your own session open instead of the exchange's for building daily candles. Turn on if you treat 18:00 as the start of the day rather than midnight.

Placement and size

Padding from current candles 20
Gap between live price and the first drawn set. Raise it if the boxes crowd your most recent bars.
Space between candles 1
Gap between individual HTF candles within a set.
Space between Higher Timeframes 20
Gap between the sets themselves. With three sets on, this is what keeps them readable as separate groups.
Candle Width 2
Body width in bars.

Labels

HTF Label on
Names each set by its timeframe. Label Positions puts them Top, Bottom or Both; Label Alignment chooses Align for a tidy row or Follow Candles to sit with each candle.
Remaining time off
Live countdown to the close of the forming candle. Worth turning on — it is how you know whether a level has actually held.
Interval Value off
Prints the raw interval alongside the label.
Time Format AM/PM
AM/PM or 24H.
Candle Time Label on
Timestamp under each HTF candle.
Phase Labels (C1…) off
Marks each candle with its position in the Power of Three sequence. Turn this on while you are learning the model — it makes the pattern legible instead of implied.

Lines drawn on the HTF candles

Show C2 Lines on HTF Candles on
Draws the C2 level onto the candle boxes, so you can see the sweep level without tracing it back to price.
Show EQ (50%) Line on HTF Candles on
Midpoint of each HTF candle. The reference for whether price is in premium or discount within that candle.
Fair Value Gap on
Imbalances drawn inside the HTF candle display.
Volume Imbalance off
The body-to-body gap variant. Finer-grained than an FVG and considerably more of them.

Divergence on the candles

Divergence Mode PSP
PSP for Precision Swing Points, PC for the plain close comparison, or Off. PSP is the stricter read.
Precise Mode off
Tightens what qualifies. Fewer markers, higher bar for each.
Faster PSP Detection on
Flags a PSP earlier in its formation rather than waiting for full confirmation.

Anchors

Auto Anchor Timeframes on
Picks the anchor pair from your chart. Off, you set them yourself.

The manual anchor pair — 4H for structure, 15m for the middle step. These are the timeframes the model reasons about; they are not the same thing as the three display sets above.
Display is not logic

The three HTF candle sets are a display. The anchor HTF and MTF are what the model actually computes on. Changing HTF 3 from weekly to monthly changes what you see; changing the anchor changes what the indicator concludes.

Chart Signals

CISD, its standard deviation projections, continuation entries, and raw liquidity levels.

CISD

Show CISD on
Change in State of Delivery — the confirmation line. Bullish #2962FF, bearish #FF1744, width 2.
Require HTF C2 for Alert off
Only alerts on a CISD that follows a higher-timeframe C2. A real filter: on, you get far fewer and better pings.
CISD Color Preset Custom
Custom uses your two colors; RTC switches to that convention's scheme.
Confirm Max Bars 10
How many bars a setup has to confirm before it is abandoned. Lower is stricter — the move has to happen promptly or it does not count.

CISD Standard Deviations

Show CISD Standard Deviations off
Projects measured targets out from the CISD level. Off by default; this is the take-profit framework rather than the entry.
STDV Max Setups 1
How many setups get projections at once. One keeps it readable.
STDV Tick Length 3
Length of the projection ticks in bars, plus tick color and line width and style.
STDV Directional Colors off
On, projections take bull/bear colors instead of the single neutral grey.
STDV Show Labels on
Prints the deviation multiple on each level. Without it the ticks are unlabelled lines.

Continuation CISD

Show Continuation CISD on
Re-entry after the first move has delivered. Bull #00BCD4, bear #FF6D00 — deliberately different from the primary CISD colors so you never confuse an entry with a re-entry.
Min Pullback Candles 2
How deep a retracement must be before a continuation qualifies. Raise it if you are getting continuations on what is really just noise.
Require HTF C2 Bias Alignment off
Forces the continuation to agree with the higher-timeframe C2 direction. Worth turning on once you trust the C2 read.

Liquidity

Show Liquidity Levels on
Swing-based buyside #089981 and sellside #E91E63 levels.
Base Swing Strength 5
Bars either side required to qualify as a swing. This is the single most useful dial in the section: higher gives fewer, more significant levels.
Delete After (Bars) 1000
How long an untouched level survives. Lower it if old levels are cluttering the left of your chart.

Liquidity Levels

Day and week extremes, the sweep and T-Spot display, and session highs and lows.

Key levels

Show Key Levels on
Master toggle for the four below.
PDH · PDL · PWH · PWL all on
Previous day and previous week extremes. The reference liquidity for everything else in the model.
Show C2 Sweep Lines on Chart on
Draws the level that a C2 swept, on price rather than only on the HTF boxes.
Show T-Spot Zone on
Highlights the reaction area where price is expected to respond.
Smart Cutoff on
Hides levels once they have been swept. This is why your chart stays clean through a trending day — leave it on unless you are reviewing history.

Sessions

Lookback 1 Day
How far back session levels are kept: 1 Day, 2 Days, 3 Days or 1 Week.
Hide Mitigated Levels on
Drops a session high or low once price has closed through it.

All four sessions are enabled by default, each with an editable start and end in HH:MM:

Good to know

These windows are the ones that build session highs and lows — they are not the same as the alert filter in section 09. Narrowing a session here changes which prices become levels; narrowing an alert window changes only when you get told about them.

SMT and Correlation

Divergence against up to three correlated instruments, on price and on the HTF candles.

Show SMT Divergences on
Master toggle. Bullish and bearish are separately toggleable, each with two colors (A1 and A2) so you can tell which correlated asset diverged.
Force Asset Class Auto
Auto detects it. Force Futures or CFD/Spot when you trade a symbol whose class is ambiguous and the auto peers come out wrong.
Swing Pivot SMT on
Checks for divergence at swing pivots. SMT Pivot Strength (default 3) sets how many bars either side define the pivot.
Max Signals to Display 20
Cap on visible divergences.
Hide Invalidated on
Removes divergences that have since been negated. Turn off when reviewing.

Correlated assets

Correlation Preset Auto
Auto resolves peers from a correlation library based on your symbol. Manual exposes three symbol fields.
Manual Asset 1 · 2 · 3
Your own comparison symbols. Three peers means a divergence can be confirmed by two others rather than one.
Invert Asset 3 off
Flips the third asset's direction. This is for inverse correlations — a dollar index against an equity index, for instance, where agreement looks like opposition.

On the HTF candles

Show HTF Candle SMT Lines on
Divergence drawn on the candle boxes. Bull #00adef, bear #db5755.
Show 2-Stage CIC Marker on
Marks the two-stage change-in-candle condition, with its own color and size.
Correlation is the premise

SMT only means something between instruments that normally move together. Point Manual Asset at something uncorrelated and you will get constant divergence, all of it noise. If you are unsure, stay on Auto.

Chart Tools

Vertical separators and the timeframe label. Cosmetic, but they set the rhythm of the chart.

Show Vertical Separators off
Period boundary lines, Solid/Dashed/Dotted with a width of 1–4.
Separator Anchor Model
Model draws boundaries where the model's periods break; Highest HTF uses the largest timeframe on display. Pick Model if you want the lines to mean something, Highest HTF if you want them evenly spaced.
Max Separators · Unlimited 4 · off
Keeps the last four boundaries. Unlimited overrides the cap — expect a busy chart.
Show Timeframe Label on
Labels each separator with its period. Size TinyLarge, own color, positioned Top or Bottom.

Alerts

Nine controls. Two of them are dropdowns rather than checkboxes, which is easy to miss.

Creating the alert

  1. Right-click the chart → Add alert.
  2. Set Condition to the indicator.
  3. Choose Any alert() function call.
  4. Create.
Set up first, alert last

TradingView snapshots your settings into the alert at creation. Retuning the indicator afterwards changes your chart and not your alert. Every time you change the filters, delete the alert and make a new one.

Events

C2 Closure on
Second candle of the sequence closes.
C3 Closure on
Third candle closes. Later and stricter.
C2 Closure From Key Level on
The filtered version — only when the C2 comes off a key level. If you want one formation alert, this is the one to keep and the plain C2 is the one to drop.
POI to C2 Closure on
Price reached a point of interest and then produced a C2. The sequence rather than either event alone.
Early: Chart TF C2 off
Fires on a chart-timeframe C2 instead of waiting for the higher one. Earlier and noisier — a heads-up, not a signal.
HTF FVG Touch on
Price reaches a higher-timeframe gap.
Swing Touch off
Price reaches a swing level. Frequent.
CISD Alert All
A dropdown, not a checkbox: Off, Bullish, Bearish, Bull Cont, Bear Cont, or All. Choosing a single direction here is how you run a directional alert without touching the drawing filters.
SMT Alert Both
Also a dropdown: Off, Bullish, Bearish or Both.

A quiet, high-quality alert set

  1. Leave only C2 Closure From Key Level and CISD Alert active; uncheck plain C2, C3, POI, FVG Touch and Swing Touch.
  2. Turn on Require HTF C2 for Alert in Chart Signals.
  3. Set Alert Bias to Follow Profile in section 02.
  4. Create the alert.

That combination pings you when a higher-timeframe formation confirms at a level, in the direction the profile already favours — a handful of times a week rather than a handful an hour.
